While expecting our first child, we moved away from all of our family and friends. He was the first and very anticipated grandchild. Armed with a digital camera, we captured every moment of our son’s life. Sharing those thousands of photos and the stories that went along with them proved to be a problem. Many of our family members refused to have email, some didn’t enjoy their inboxes filled with huge photo files, and sending out multiple e-mails was very time consuming.
By creating a website, we were able to share photos, stories and keep an online journal of our rapidly growing tot. Our guests are able to leave comments and see all of the photos from birth to the present whenever they would like – and they never have to open an attachment or download a file.
